Eliza Mellor has worked as a producer, line producer and production executive in the film and television industry since 1988. Mellor was Production Executive at BFI Production where she ran a co-development slate of low-budget feature films with the BBC, which included projects such as John Maybury’s Love is the Devil and The Lawless Heart (directed by Tom Hunsinger and Neil Hunter) and also a BFI/Channel Four slate of low-budget feature films, including Carine Adler’s Under the Skin, Coky Geidroyc’s Stella does Tricks, Andrew Kotting’s Gallivant and Jasmin Dizdar’s Beautiful People. She worked at BBC Films as a Production Executive with responsibility for a number of film and television projects including Francesca Joseph’s Tomorrow La Scala and Michael Winterbottom’s In this World. Mellor is currently producing a feature film about Albert Schweitzer with Berlin based NFP Productions and co-producing Mike Hodges next feature film, Mario the Magician.
